The Leapfrog Group and the National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH) are co-hosting a two-day, multi-stakeholder (purchasers, providers, health plans and consultants) workshop on the implementation of two national incentives and rewards (I&R) initiatives: one focusing on hospital care performance improvement, Leapfrog's Hospital Rewards Program, and the other focusing on ambulatory care performance improvement, Bridges to Excellence. The workshop will address the many aspects of incentive and reward development and implementation and focus on the implementation of the two aforementioned programs including actuarial model manipulation for specific populations, bonus structures and benefit structures, legal ramifications, funding, interaction with other I&R initiatives, enrollee communications, market customization ideas and program evaluation. Workshop participants will return to their respective markets with the knowledge, tools, and off-the-shelf solutions that they will need to successfully implement these two I&R programs.
