The following are NBCH's most current policy statements:
- September 28, 2011- NBCH Submits Comments
to CMS on the Establishment of Exchanges and Qualified Health Plans Proposed
Rule
- NBCH believes state health care Exchanges provide a unique and
critical opportunity for addressing the current significant quality and
affordability gaps that exist in todays health care delivery system. Therefore, NBCH believes the role of the
Exchanges can be significantly enhanced if specific efforts related to quality
reporting, providing consumers with information on quality and cost of care,
and strong consumer and purchaser representation on governance bodies are
successfully integrated into the development of both the federal, and
state-based, health insurance Exchanges.
