National Health Leadership Council MembershipAnother NBCH membership affiliation is through the National Health Leadership Council (NHLC), a multi-stakeholder group established by NBCH as a vehicle for high-level discussion of issues important to coalition members and to all major parties in health care — purchasers, providers, insurers, and suppliers. With members from all sectors of the industry, NHLC forums cover a broad agenda of current topics at two annual meetings involving senior executives of NHLC organizations, NBCH coalition members, and coalition employer members. The National Health Leadership Council (NHLC) is a multi-stakeholder membership group established by the National Business Coalition on Health (NBCH) as a vehicle for high-level discussion of issues important to both coalition members as well as major parties in health care — purchasers, providers, insurers, and suppliers. The dialogue itself is the most immediate value of membership, as the NHLC provides an opportunity for education and networking.
Two meetings are conducted each year and are attended by senior executives of the NHLC, NBCH coalition members, and their employer members. Following each meeting, NBCH publishes a strategic white paper summarizing the multi-stakeholder conversation and speaker presentations, which is ultimately distributed to NHLC and coalition members, interested health care stakeholders, and employer executives. All professional and trade associations, charitable foundations, and health care companies, systems, and networks may apply. Benefits of National Health Leadership Council
