Return to Community Health Partnerships - Home
Meeting Goal: To stimulate and support the development and sustainability of community health partners with public health and business coalition leadership by providing education, experience sharing, and initiative development opportunities based on the science and culture of collective leadership at the community level
Meeting Attendees: Coalition directors, employers, and public health officials from community sites engaged in partnership development and population health improvement initiatives.
Meeting Summary: The workshop allowed sharing of a variety of partnerships at varying stages of collaboration and evolution, subsequently underscoring the value of community health partnerships, but it also highlighted the complexity of these evolving relationships for collaboration, need for business case information for a broader engagement of business and employers, and the energy of the participants to move forward with their initiatives.
